Just like that, a quarter of the year has already been completed. April is upon us and with it comes the promise of warmer weather — at least for those of us up in the Northern Hemisphere. We’re already seeing brands take advantage of the new month as an Easter-themed pair of kicks arrives in this weeks lineup of launches from the likes of adidas, Nike, Salomon, HOKA, New Balance, adidas, ASICS, and Jordan Brand. Before we walk you through all ten drops, lets first review the key sneaker headlines from the past week.

Starting with the Swoosh, the Nike SB team’s long rumored take on the Air Max 95 finally leaked in a pink and white “Cactus Flower” colorway. Meanwhile, we got a better look at the GT Future in its “Copper Egg” finish. We’re less than two weeks away from the return of the Kobe 8 Protro “What The” and its official images were shared as well. Adding to the list of Kobe-related headlines, the Kobe 6 “All-Star 3D Hollywood” returning next year and a new Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Linen” were rumors that surfaced.

Jordan Brand continued its preparations for Luka Dončić’s new signature shoes by offering a complete set of visuals featuring the Jordan Luka .77 — his new outdoor-oriented performance basketball sneaker. Early imagery of the new Air Jordan 4 “Denim” also popped up.

Collaborations with New Balance were a hot topic as Kith shock dropped its 997.5 “Easter” pack and we previewed Aimé Leon Dore’s takes on the new RC56, 475, and T500. Rounding out the week, PLAY COMME des GARÇONS’ Converse Chuck 70s were spotted on the shelves of Canadian Costcos.

With all of the past week’s major footwear news revisited, lets go ahead and dive into what to expect from the week ahead. Afterwards, be sure to hit up HBX to shop sneaker styles that are available now.

Known for its white leather upper with suede overlays and a gum sole, the sleek trainer has been reimagined by everyone from adidas to Maison Margiela and has been a go-to sneaker in the fashion industry for decades. Now, the Three Stripes is back with two luxe takes on the model with its BW Army silhouette. Cracked leather in options of “Cloud White” and “Core Black” is joined by a suede T-toe cap with a gum sole backing each step.

The lineup features looks in “Fairy Tale,” “Henna,” “Shortbread,” “Iced Aqua,” and “Footwear Silver,” with each sporting the model’s Quicklace tech and wavy Sensifit system.

Nike Total 90 III SP “Dynamic Yellow” and “Safety Orange”

Release Date: April 1
Release Price: $110 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: One of the standout silhouettes to be returning to the market from Nike’s archive this year is the Total 90 III SP. Teased twice last year, it finally came back this February and is now arriving in two bold colorways of “Dynamic Yellow” and “Safety Orange.” Each pair is equipped with the football shoe’s unique branding, which includes a large encircled “90” hit at the medial. The “Safety Orange” version is joined by white branding while the “Dynamic Yellow” utilizes a metallic finish that pairs with green accents.

Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low “Matcha”

Release Date: April 3 and 5
Release Price: $135 USD
Where to Buy: Select Skate Shops and SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Yuto Horigome made history last year by winning his second Olympic gold medal in Skateboarding (Men’s Street). In the wake of this successful run — one that saw him wear his SB Dunk Low collaboration from 2022 — yet another collaborative colorway is now dropping. Revamping the shoe with a new “Matcha” flavor, his cross-feather logo returns at the lateral heel while the mixed material upper pairs green and brown throughout its build.

Marni x HOKA Bondi B3LS

Release Date: April 3 and 4
Release Price: $395 USD
Where to Buy: Marni and HOKA
Why You Should Cop: Marni and HOKA are dropping their first collaboration as a duo this week, reworking last year’s Bondi B3LS sneaker. A new padded polyester upper adds chunkiness to the already bulky sneaker as monochromatic colorways of “Poinciana,” “Bracken,” “Tourmaline,” and “Straw” offer red, brown, blue, and yellow options. Subtle co-branding is present at the pulltabs, cushioned EVA insoles, and special packaging.

Action Bronson x New Balance MADE in USA 990v6 “Citizen of the World”

Release Date: April 4
Release Price: $220 USD
Where to Buy: SpecializingInLife
Why You Should Cop: Action Bronson and New Balance have had a successful few years of working together as they’ve outfitted various sneakers with Mr. Baklava’s signature flair. The two are circling back to the 990v6 this week — the shoe that started it all in 2022 — via the New Balance MADE in USA line. This “Citizen of the World” take on the shoe sees it don a mix of red, pink, yellow, white, gray, and black throughout.

BAPE x adidas SSTR V

Release Date: April 4
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: BAPE and adidas
Why You Should Cop: BAPE and adidas have one of the longest running partnerships in the sneaker industry. The two streetwear titans have collaborated many times over recent decades, with the Superstar being a recurring model of choice when it comes to footwear. It returns this week as the “SSTR V,” combining BAPE STA and Three Stripes branding with ABC SOLID CAMO embossing. Colorways of white with black and blue with white are both accented by golden detailing at the dubrae and the lateral heel’s foil APE HEAD.

Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: A.P.C., ASICS, and HBX
Why You Should Cop: A.P.C. and ASICS have connected France and Japan with their new tennis-themed capsule. Aside from the sport-oriented designs, the GEL-KAYANO 14 serves as a highlight, appearing in colorways of “Indigo Fog” and “Pure Silver.” The two iterations of the runner each feature the campaign’s co-branded logo that sees ASICS’ “A” inserted into the “A.P.C.” wordmark. This note is subtly included at the heel branding while a traditional logo lock-up is present at the sockliner.
