Amsterdam’s renowned streetwear imprint Patta has given the world its first look at its highly anticipated collaboration on the new Nike Cryoshot Mercurial, marking the initial collaborative push for Nike‘s innovative Cryoshot series. Patta co-owner Guillaume Schmidt himself revealed the sneaker, which leverages the iconic Mercurial R9 silhouette for a lifestyle-focused adaptation.

The Patta x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial R9 works off the familiar blue/yellow “Brazil” originals, but transforms them with vivid red/orange and jet black accents, while retaining streaks of metallic silver leather. This distinctive colorway appears to be a nod to the Netherlands’ “Oranje” heritage. Patta’s signature spell-out logo is prominently displayed on the extended lace shroud and the traditional tongue. The shoe features the innovative “icy underfoot TPU cages” that define the Cryoshot series, making iconic football boots suitable for off-pitch wear.

While a public release date remains unknown, this collaboration adds a serious football link-up to Patta’s already packed 2025 slate, which includes pending Air Max 90 colorways. The Patta x Nike Cryoshot Mercurial is expected to be a major drop, blending football heritage with streetwear cool.
