This season, JD Sports adds the Salomon XT-6 to its extensive footwear roster. Known for crafting exclusive campaigns for its brands’ collections, the launch is accompanied by the retailer’s debut campaign with the outdoor label titled “From the Mountain, to the Street.”

Making its mark among athletes, explorers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, the XT-6 was originally designed for ultra-distance races across various terrains. In recent years, however, the silhouette has witnessed a rebirth, gaining new acclaim within the lifestyle space as more consumers increasingly prioritize comfort when shopping for footwear.

Fusing technical innovation with stand-out design features, the sneaker’s highly durable overlays, cushioned midsole, extra gripped outsole as well as signature Salomon Quicklace™ lacing system, have made the XT-6 a go-to silhouette for trail-to-city activities.

Continuing its commitment to champion local stars, JD Sports enlists East London native and Salomon Sportstyle ambassador Joe James to front its debut campaign for the outdoor brand. As a rising voice in culture, the artist has garnered a cult following for his lyricism and presence within the city’s streetwear scene. Possessing an authentic relationship with fashion and the outdoors, Joe James’ versatility embraces the sneaker’s roots as well as its current bridge into the lifestyle realm.

The campaign visuals capture the sneaker in its natural element, both in the city and outdoors, with the artist sporting this season’s two highlighted colorways: “Cloud/Iron/Ultra” and “Black/Grey/Orange.”

Retailing for £165 GBP (approx. $220 USD), both of the Salomon XT-6 sneakers are available to purchase from JD Sports now.
